This page is about this application site: what it keeps about you, and for how long.
Signing in
- You sign in with a 6-digit code we email you. It works for 10 minutes, and we delete it within a day.
- To stop misuse, we count sign-in attempts from each internet address for a day. We never store the address itself.
- We keep your email address so you can sign in again.
- You're signed out after 30 minutes without using the site, and after 12 hours at most, so it's safer on a shared computer.
- This site's cookies are only for signing in. There's no advertising or tracking.
Your profile and applications
- Until you apply, your profile stays on this site only. If you don't change it for 6 months, we delete it.
- An application you start but don't send is deleted after 30 days without changes.
- When you send an application, your details go to After School Matters. Their staff use them to review applications, place teens in programs and pay them.
- Once After School Matters has your details, we delete this site's copy.
What we never ask for
- Your Social Security number. We only ask whether you have one.
Once your details reach After School Matters, their privacy policy applies: After School Matters privacy policy.
